Warranty Policy

SHAMANDA LIMITED WARRANTY

1. General Terms

This warranty policy applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The warranty is valid solely for installations within the Americas (North, South, and Central America).

  • Original Purchaser: Defined as the person who first purchased the product from an authorized SHAMANDA seller for use in a residential or commercial property.

2. Warranty Periods by Product Category

A. Faucets (Kitchen, Lavatory, Bathtub, and Freestanding Faucets)

  1. Residential Use: SHAMANDA warrants the structure and finish of all faucets to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for as long as the original purchaser owns the home in which the product was first installed (Limited Lifetime Warranty).

  2. Commercial or Public Use: For products installed in public spaces, commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities, the warranty period is five (5) years from the date of purchase.

  3. Leased or Rented Residential Units: For products installed in leased or rented residential units (e.g., duplexes, townhouses, apartments) where the owner does not reside, the warranty period is ten (10) years (Excluding hospitality or healthcare business purposes).

B. Shower and Tub Valve Systems

  1. Residential Use: SHAMANDA warrants the structure and finish to be free from defects under normal usage for as long as the original purchaser owns the home (Limited Lifetime Warranty).

  2. Commercial or Public Use: The warranty period is five (5) years from the date of purchase.

  3. Leased or Rented Residential Units: The warranty period is ten (10) years from the date of purchase.

C. Specific Core Components (Applicable to All Installations)

  1. Cartridges: Warranted for five (5) years from the date of purchase.

  2. Electronic Parts: Warranted for three (3) years for residential use and one (1) year for commercial use (Excluding batteries).

  3. Sprayhead Assemblies & Consumables: Including sprayer hoses, handheld showers, tub spouts, aerators, and backflow preventers. Warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase under normal use.

3. Usage Limitations & Disclaimer

To ensure the warranty remains valid, products must be used for their intended purposes. Any improper installation will void the warranty:

  • Purpose Matching: Shower systems are for indoor bathroom installation only; Kitchen faucets are for kitchen use only. No products are supported for outdoor use.

  • Installation Requirements: Products must be installed by a professional. SHAMANDA is not responsible for leaks or damage caused by assembly errors, improper installation methods, or failure to follow manual guidelines.

  • Environmental Restrictions: Do not expose products to extreme temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight.

4. Care and Maintenance

Use of the following will void the finish warranty:

  • Abrasive pads, steel wool, or wire brushes.

  • Harsh cleaners containing bleach, chlorine, ammonia, or abrasive powders.

  • Recommendation: Use only mild soap and a soft cloth for cleaning to preserve the finish.

5. Claim Process

  2. Required Documentation: You must provide proof of purchase (Order ID), details of the issue, and clear photographs or videos. Claims cannot be processed without valid proof of purchase.

  3. Resolution: SHAMANDA will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part. If the product is discontinued, a comparable replacement or store credit will be provided.

6. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, discount outlets, clearance sales, or products received as free gifts.

  • Labor Cost Reimbursement: SHAMANDA strictly excludes reimbursement for repair costs, plumber fees, or any third-party labor charges.

  • Secondary Damages: SHAMANDA is not responsible for any property damage (e.g., water damage to floors or walls) caused by product failure or improper installation.

  • Normal wear and tear, hard water deposits, or natural chemical corrosion.
